On initial check of the rooms we thought they were tiny but we quickly got used to just keeping our stuff neat and under the beds. The hotel location was awesome! We walked everywhere. Our teens loved all the shops at our doorstep. Staff were so helpful. For example I asked if there was a public phone nearby and they searched for one then printed me out a map showing me how to get there. The bathrooms and rooms were spotless. Fresh towels and pyjamas every day. Beds were comfortable and the heater / air conditioning in the room worked well. We left our bags there the whole day after check out. Washing machines were cheap and efficient. Microwave and hot water in lobby. Shared space was good for a family too. The rates booked 9 months in advance for 6 people were the cheapest I found in Kyoto but the quality far exceeded the price.

The rooms were small, which is expected for Japan, but the space was used very well and comfortably fit two people and two large suitcases. The futon-style beds were surprisingly comfortable, and we were provided with pajamas as well as all other toiletries. The shared bathroom facilities were fantastic and very clean, and I especially liked that you could only access any of them with a room key. The location is also fantastic, it is right off Nishiki market, close to a bus stop and about a 10 minute walk to the nearest train station. I would even say it is wheelchair accessible, as there is a small ramp to get inside, and elevators to access all floors. I also loved the shared lounge/lobby area, there were multiple maps and city guides that were extremely helpful for planning my stay.

The bathrooms were amazing, super well equipped with foot towels, hairdryers, mirrors, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and multiple hooks in each shower cubicle. the towels were replaced every day, with a bath towel and a face towel provided. everything was super super clean and the staff were so friendly and accomodating. we even extended our stay by a night as we loved it so much! the location was AMAZING- a super short walk to multiple stations, and in the centre of everything right off shijo st. nishiki market was 30 seconds away, and we never had to walk more than 2 minutes to a convenience store or food. loved loved loved this place, everything was perfect, would 100000000000000000% stay again.

The hotel provided was absolutely perfect. The room had enough space for two people and was very clean. Pajamas (t-shirts and sweatpants) were provided for guests and were free to use. A coin-operated laundry room was available downstairs. The bathroom and toilet were also very spacious and clean. The bathing area on the 3rd floor was the safest to use as it was accessible only to women. Several food and drink vending machines were available in the lobby, and the check-in and check-out process was very smooth. The location was also close to Nishiki Market ob right side, and left side near to Starbucks and local cafe shop.

Fantastic location, just off the main streets of Kyoto which puts all the shops, restaurants and subway/bus stations right on the doorstep. Rooms were very cosy, a nice upgrade from standard capsule hotels. They are not much wider than a single bed but are floor to ceiling and it was plenty of space for me. Being able to stand up to get dressed and having your suitcase in the room are wonderful luxuries for accommodations at this price point. Bathrooms were nice and clean too with great showers and amenities. Highly recommend, very comfortable and a great value stay.
